   The dock itself looks nice and functions well. If you have a MacBook Pro be warned, at least on the 15in MBP without the SD slot (late 2008 early 2009 model) the USB ports on the computer do not play nice with any USB hub including the one built into this docking device. By using the right-most USB port on the laptop (closest to the audio port) I can squeeze out just enough to use my Bose Companion 5s through USB on the back of this dock.

   The problem with MacBook Pro laptops seems to be a known issue with Apple and the user community. I also have a Seagate hard drive docking station with three USB ports and those also will not work correctly if I try to plug anything into them. At least the Griffin will play the USB speakers though.

   I needed a dock for my iPhone, looked around and selected this one. Glad I did.

   The only criricism I have is that I feel it is overpriced, so shop around for the best deal!
