   After the initial break-in period of (yes, it really says this in the instructions) 24 or more hours of playing loud music through them, they sound terrific. There is a nice long lead cord so that it will reach all the way from your pocket and the cord is heavy enough to not get tangled while in storage. The sound is to me quite full range and will reproduce orchestral music as well as rock equally good. I noticed a very real quality to the sound. They feel right in the ear and and come with a selection of rubber ear inserts in three sizes. As for noise isolation, the JBuds J2 Premium Hi-FI Noise Isolating Earbuds deaden the surrounding ambient noise quite well but not completely. I can still hear conversation, traffic and my snow blower albeit a lot quieter.

   I purchased these for the great price, reviews, etc. They worked great (sound) while it lasted but the jack broke after a week. The problem is the jack is a vertical straight input as oppossed to L shaped so it can be snapped easily. I did this while taking my ipod out of my pocket. In summary great sounding plugs but be gentle.

   I ordered this on Dec. 15th and estimated shipping was the 22nd. I received this on the 26th of December which obviously was after x-mas…bummer. They sent it USPS instead of UPS which they sent my IPod Touch I ordered on the same day and received on the 23rd of December!
